Nike Confirms USA Release Date for Nike Air Yeezy 2 & Official Photos

ITS TIME! After months and months of rumors and sketches, we finally get some concrete information STRAIGHT FROM NIKE. We knew that after yesterday’s celebrity twitter/instagram “Yeezy 2″ parade, that a US release date is near, very near. A couple days ago we learned that overseas Nike accounts were scheduled to release the Yeezy 2 on June 9th and were already releasing raffle tickets to the public. We’ll the same will go for us. Nike has confirmed that the Nike Air Yeezy 2 will release on June 9th 2012 GLOBALLY (Including USA) in both colorways in very limited quantities at select Nike retailers. In case you need another run-through of the features, the Yeezy 2 screams performance and style with anaconda-textured leather quarter-panels, a Vac Tech Swoosh, unique reptilian-specific spiked heel, and GITD Nike Air Tech Challenge II outsole. Taking cues from ancient civilization, hieroglyphic imagery can be found on the loop strap that spells out “YZY”.
