Dr. Dre & Jimmy Iovine Donate 70 Million To USC New Program

When you got it, you got it. Later today, Dr. Dre and Beats By Dre business partner Jimmy Iovine will donate $70 million to the University of Southern California. The endowment will be used to create the Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy for Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation.

Set to launch in Fall 2014, the four year program will offer undergrads courses in entrepreneurship; technology, art, design and marketing. In a statement, USC President C.L. Max Nikias says:

“The vision and generosity of Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young will profoundly influence the way all of us perceive and experience artistic media. Our goal is to ensure that the academy is the most collaborative educational program in the world.”

Mac Miller and the Most Dope crew hit MTV2. Most Dope crew and Mac film 6 shows of there travels and fun from Pittsburgh to Hollywood. You can look at it like the real-life Entourage filming footage of Mac working on his up and coming sophomore album Watching Movies With the Sound Off. This is what Mac had to say about the show,“Yes, I have a show on MTV2. It’s very cool. Being an independent artist, I think it’s important to find different ways to bring attention to what you are doing. With Watching Movies coming out, I just want to do whatever I can to make sure everybody hears that.” Show is set to air February 26 on MTV2 at 11:30.
